Pengembangan Soal Matematika Hots (Higher Order Thinking Skills) Kelas X Berdasarkan Triple Theory
Abstract
The lower’s level of student’s HOTS (Higher Order Thinking Skills) based on the result of PISA 2015 in mathematics showed that characteristic of learning mathematics still used to the Lower Order Thinking Skill’s problem (LOTS). Based on it, needs developed a HOTS’s math problem of 10th grade based on Triple Theory. This research aims to produce a HOTS’s math problem in 10th grade based on Triple Theory are valid and practical. This research is a development research (R & D) with development model based on Tessmer consists of 2 the steps are preliminary and the formative evaluation. The draft trial was done in 10th grade of SMA Negeri 1 Kediri. The instrument of data collection are lattice mathematics problems, mathematics sheet, validation sheet, and questionnaire sheet. The draft of mathematics problems consists of 8 items. the result of research showed that draft of mathematics problems of HOTS is valid. It is based on calculation of percentage of agreement’s formula obtained all items have percentage more than 75% and based on validity’s value of all items are more than 0,392. Practicality seen from the results of the tryout test can be concluded all students of 10th grade can use The draft of mathematics problems well .The results of a average’s score of higher order thinking skill of the test result of 16,05 in scale of 32.
